Connect The Dots is a daytime activity provider for adults (18+) with learning disabilities and autism. We are part of Bradford Council’s daytime activity provider list. We provide a safe space to take part in a wide range of activities, make new friends and connect with others. Our mission is to help people with learning disabilities lead happy, independent and fulfilling lives by learning new skills and having fun. Connect The Dots specialise in cooking sessions and social gaming. Our cooking and gaming sessions bring people together, developing life skills, social skills and communication skills whilst having fun. We have a huge selection of board games, card games and quizzes so our sessions are different every day. Our members choose the recipes they want to make during cooking sessions, so you’ll get to try lots of new foods as well as your favourites! Our session times are 9:30 - 15:30.
Connect The Dots is a not-for-profit Community Interest Company (CIC), this means all profits go back to our members to offer them new experiences and meaningful activities. Over the past year, we have been able to offer our members lots of exciting opportunities including:
Various workshops including: games development, making wax melts, cake decorating, baking, bicycle repairs, sports
Trips to Blackpool, Flamingo Land, the Yorkshire Dales, Tropical World and Scarborough
Visits to local parks, shops, cafes and restaurants
Collaborative working with the members of Bradford People First and Keighley People First on their red bag scheme, voting, and their podcast!
Lots of parties! Halloween, Eid, Christmas, Pride (plus many more… we like a party!)
